Description:

The Dyrfjallahluapid is a running festival in Borgarfjörður eystra where competition routes are offered for runners of all abilities. We offer a 50 km Ultra race with an elevation gain of 2600 m that runs through Loðmundarfjörður, Húsavík, Breiðuvík and Brúnavík and ends at the marina in Borgarfjörður eystra. We also offer 12 and 24 km routes through Víknaslóðir which is a unique area with light liparite mountains and landslides, mixed with dark and majestic basalt peaks.
