The Reykjavik Spring Marathon

The Icelandic Marathon Runners' Association has held spring and autumn marathons for over 20 years, and these races have long since established themselves and are enjoying ever-increasing popularity. An effort has been made to create a warm and relaxed atmosphere around the races. The route runs in beautiful surroundings along the city's main paths, as far away from all car traffic as possible. Two distances are offered: a full marathon and a half marathon.
